A groundbreaking new way to learn suicide prevention skills

living-hope_start-training.jpg

LivingWorks Start teaches valuable skills to everyone 13 and older and requires no formal training or prior experience in suicide prevention. When you sign up for LivingWorks Start training, you'll learn a powerful four-step model to keep someone safe from suicide, and you'll have a chance to practice with impactful simulations.

Living Hope is offering this training at no cost throughout the fall to all Edmontonians. This is a great opportunity for Edmontonians to educate themselves on how to support a friend, family member, or co-worker who may be struggling.

In honour of World Suicide Prevention Day we have set our sights on training 500 EDMONTONIANS in LivingWorks Start throughout the month of September!

Help us to reach our goal and visit https://11ofus.ca/courses/#livingworks-start to register.

Living Hope, City of Edmonton

Living Hope was developed by a committee of dedicated organizations and individuals who believe that suicide can be prevented in our city. These partners range from government to colleges and universities, to private and non-profit organizations. View the Living Hope Implementation Plan.
