Respectfully acknowledging we gather on traditional land known as amiskwacîwâskahikan (ᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ) on Treaty 6 Territory and the Métis homeland, this land is home to many diverse Indigenous peoples including some for whom their land is unceded. We are committed to honouring these peoples’ communities, their Elders past, present, and future, and the land upon which we gather. We recognize we are on a learning and healing journey which welcomes guidance as we strive to champion reconciliation, build respectful relationships, and support Indigenous sovereignty, justice, and equity in all aspects of our work.
